We arrived early so we took our time to visit the centre of Horsens in Denmark. Typical building style and lots of sun so we enjoyed a refreshing drink before returning to the hotel and checking in. Valérie and me did some jogging around the local lake (infested with mosquitoes) but it was fun (we did both 14 km). Some pictures below. and below the proof of Valérie’s jogging :
It looks like a garage sale for Tesla’s here. 16 super chargers and quite well occupied. There is a hamburger joint next to it but for the rest : total nothingness. But hey, the sun is shining so we are satisfied. Our hotel is close by so we will use the free time to visit Horsens and do some jogging to work away yesterday’s eat fest. and maybe just the proof that we entered Denmark 🙂
We arrived at our hotel arround 18:00 in the pooring rain. The hotel is cosy (a bit outdated) but the food is massive and cheap (classic German kitchen as you can discover below).
Our second stop was required to discover some local food… (no comment on that one). Oh, and the weather is still shit…
Our first 165 km have been driven and we are taking a break in Moers (Van Der Valk Hotel). Spirits are high and the weather sucks (it’s raining cats and dogs outside).
Erm… this is not what you want to see when you go on vacation : But people told me this actually is considered quite good in Bergen :-). And we are fully prepared!!
We are leaving for Norway in a couple of days and if you are planning to go there as a tourist just know that you have to pay toll on their highways.
